Setting up Virtual DJ
This guide assumes you are using Virtual DJ v3.0 or later and have selected the 'Full' layout. If you have selected a diffrent layout, the options may be in diffrent positions.
1. Launch Virtual DJ and Select the 'Record' option
2. Select 'BROADCAST' and click the 'CONFIG...' button.
3. In the 'Format' section Select 'Shoutcast' and change the Bitrate to 192Kbs.
In the Server section, select 'Broadcast to a radio server' and put the host from your notecard into the 'Server' box, the port from your notecard into the 'Port' box and your password into the 'Password' box.
Name and Genre are purly informational so you can put anything in them.
Click OK to return to the main screen.
4. Click on the 'START RECORDING' button, the display should change to 'Server connected, Waiting to start'.
4. you are now connected and ready to stream.
